Well, I'd never thought it possible that I would give ANY Chinese buffet joint 4 stars!  To me, in this town, you've already got two strikes against you by opening a buffet restaurant:

    1) you're either crazy, stupid, or downright ballsy because there are already a couple DOZEN other places just like yours within an eggroll toss.... AND
     2) you're contributing to this town's obvious flirtation with gluttony

But, whatever the negative, the owner of Buffet King has done their homework in that the food is really quite good!  There's plenty of variety and a lot of it.  All the cliché dishes are there but they're all fresh, hot and coming out of the kitchen often enough to stay that way.

They have both a sushi chef and a Mongolian BBQ chef ready to make anything you choose.  There's a fresh salad bar with plenty of choices of different kinds of salads (yeah, right, not a whole lot of activity there).

The service is top-notch.  My tea glass was always filled promptly and my used plate would disappear from the table just as quickly.  The prices are good, less than $10 for lunch.  So, with the exception of the less-than-favorable location, the Buffet King is alright.

The food was cold and not very good.
The restaurant wasn't very clean and we barely saw our server.

first of all.. the name should be called king buffet. Walking in everything seems right at the entrance but once me and my family were seated, the tables next to us  the plates and trash were left on the table. Throughout dinner the waiters completely ignored the trash left on the table and constantly ignored our requests asking for straws and refills. The food was very bland and the customer service was extra bland. Everything was a mess and unorganized, never returning again. Also no fortune cookies ???

I love this place! Food is always warm and fresh! My husband eats the buffet but I always order from the menu and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly!

I was hoping to find a lot of options but this buffet lacks in that. I had a huge craving for fried shrimp but when we arrived I looked everywhere and the only shrimp I found was the cold one nothing more. I was very disappointed also we had gone to fill a plate and sat down to eat it and we still hadn't received our drinks. I really liked the think noodles so that's a plus
